Weekends Art Residency at Fabrik Studio in Hamburg Hamm
Last year, I started inviting fellow artists to spend entire weekends creating with me at my studio at Fabrik der Künste. We worked through the days, stayed up through the nights, ate together, and talked through our blocks.
The biggest takeaway? The energy of a group is infinitely more powerful than creating alone.
When you get stuck or hit an artist's block by yourself, it’s easy to spiral. But when we were there together, we supported, exchanged ideas, and celebrated each other's breakthroughs. It completely changed how I look at my own practice.
I want more of that. And I want to share it.
I am organizing my very first official art residency right here at the studio. It is designed to be a completely supportive, zero-judgment environment where we can experiment, take risks, and push our work forward together.

The Goal: To get out of our isolated bubbles, experiment without fear, and feed off each other's momentum.

Not at all. It is for everyone that wants to set up a challenge for themselves, to show up and grow and observe the development of how to express what is inside. Each person joining shall choose their own intention for this journey. I believe that the mix of people with different skills and experience is what will make the group dynamic much more exciting.

Surely I am there for you. In the past 8 years I have been creating and building a strong network of creators, collectors and interesting people with good heart and passion for the arts. I have exhibited, mentored and monetized my life as artist in countless ways. Some worked, others did not work at all. I am glad to share with you my experiences.

The group will be getting shaped according to the needs. We might gather for food and exchange blockages, I might invite experts in a certain topic to inspire us…. everything can happen! So yes, there will be some sort of program but you have to trust that it will be written as we move along together.

All artistic journeys shall be acknowledged and shared. By the end, it is my wish to give us the opportunity to host a open atelier weekend and invite people to be part of our development and, hopefully, inspire them with our way of seeing and experiencing the world. In the end you might realize you want to set up your own solo exhibition, maybe you close a chapter, maybe you get a huge opportunity and you quit your part time job. Remember, the end is the beginning is the end.
