    Where is the Love? / SOLO EXPO July 26

    At the heart of the exhibition is an ongoing body of work that reflects Sabela García Cuesta's personal journey: her search for love, as well as experiences of pain, vulnerability, friendship, loss, and self-discovery.

    A central component of the exhibition is a series of fifty breast portraits, created during personal encounters with women in the artist's studio at the Fabrik der Künste in Hamburg.

    The event took place at Sabela’s the Little Sister Gallery in Hamburg-Sternschanze.

    “Singur cu propria foame,” Romanian for “alone with my own hunger.” was Niklas first solo expo supported by Sabela.

    Boobs portraits - Ongoing since 2023

    Sabela has been painting boobs portraits since 2023. Either in collaboration with events, as installations or as social interactive art research / project.

    Commission X Rum Dos Maderas 25

    The premium Rum Dos Maderas commissioned an artwork to Sabela that would express the spirit of the drink.

    The creation of the artwork was fully documented and teh piece was sold and delivered to Düsseldorf to the collector.

    A donation was made to the animal rescue association Notpfote.

  • Two artists, one Spanish one from Indian

    Mugdha Martin - Mentorship 25

    The Indian artist Mugdha Martin chose a mentorship with Sabela that culminated in her first exhibition at the Fabrik Studio in Hamm.

    Her exhibition became not only a personal milestone, but also a cultural moment, honored by the visit of the General Consul of India.

    Private Retreat / Mallorca 25

    Private one week ”The Life of an Artist” retreat. Filled with art practices, challenges, excursions and time to reflect. This was designed for a very special client and his particular vison and needs.

    Swantje Diepenhorst - Mentorship 25

    Swantje, a woman with a story to tell and the courage to tell it through art, stepped into her creative power with honesty and vulnerability. This mentorship with Sabela celebrated the courage it takes to be seen.

    An invitation to stop hiding, trust the process, and dare to call oneself an artist for real.

    Experimental Residency & Expo 25

    Art in Real Time – From Blank Canvases to a Finished Exhibition in Seven Days

    Sabela, Monika, and Waldemar, three artist friends with a history of collaboration, embark on an experimental, week-long residency. They invite visitors to become part of this vibrant, creative process, locking themselves in the upper studio for seven days to create the exhibition with open doors, allowing the audience to witness the artistic journey unfold.

    An exhibition that celebrates the art of creation—fittingly hosted at the Fabrik der Künste.

    Womanhood Expo 24

    Sabela curated Womanhood, an art expo celebrating diverse perspectives on femininity. Through powerful works by talented artists, we explored stories of strength, vulnerability, and identity. It was a space to connect, reflect, and honor what it means to be a woman.

    Viva con Agua x FC St. Pauli 24

    Alongside 16 other artists, Sabela spent 12 intense hours transforming the pitch at FC St. Pauli into a massive art piece. The opportunity came spontaneously during the promotion celebrations, and despite the rain, we worked through the night to create something truly unique. Read more.

    Sabela showcased her paintings at the Superfine Art Fair 2023, connecting with art lovers and collectors from around the world.

    Millerntor Gallery x Christie's 21 / 24

    Sabela has been part of the Viva con Agua annual art auction at the Millerntor Stadium, in collaboration with Christie’s, in both 2021 and 2023. This incredible event brings together artists, collectors, and supporters to raise funds for clean water projects worldwide. Read more here.

    “I believe in magic”. As an artist, Sabela uses creativity to reconnect people with their inner child and unlock their potential. At TEDx, she shared how art can help us manifest our dreams, break free from fears, and live happier lives. Through simple exercises, I showed how creativity can bring optimism and awareness, making transformation possible. Watch the talk here.
